德國留聲機唱片公司(DG,Deutsche Grammophon)最近正在慶祝他們創立的120週年,除了一系列的活動之外,還特別推出了121CD+1BD的120週年紀念套裝,還製作了開箱影片,我們就先來看一看影片。

- ~7 E* ^- H. a# f首先看到的是一本厚達220頁的專書,除了介紹DG的歷史之外,裡面還有12篇搭配CD的專文,分別是管弦樂(27張CD)、協奏曲(22張CD)、鋼琴獨奏(17張CD)、室內樂(11張CD)、歌劇(11張CD)、宗教音樂(5張CD)、藝術歌曲(8張CD)、ARCHIV出版品(6張CD)、POLYDOR出版品(3張CD)、前衛音樂(4張CD)、新古典(3張CD)、口語(3張CD)等,專書內還有許多珍貴照片。

9 a, D7 g( C h1 ^對古典樂迷來說,可能會發現這盒套裝中大部份的CD都已經有了,不過還是有許多張CD是首度全球發行,加上DG目前正在進行的蟲膠數位化計畫(The Shellac Project),有部份也收錄在此一紀念套裝中,加上精美製作的專書,多少還是有收藏價值。

: G& W* ~( b. t# D( B* G$ k+ D1898年六月,DG公司由留聲機圓形唱盤的發行人艾彌爾貝林納(Emile Berliner)與其弟約瑟夫在漢諾威創立。當時聲音的紀錄以愛迪生所發明的圓筒留聲機為主要方式,貝林納兄弟發明的圓盤唱片留聲機比起笨重的圓筒式在操作上更為方便及輕巧,短短不到二年時間,1900年貝林納的圓盤唱片留聲機的銷售量便超過了圓筒式留聲機,取得了商業上的巨大成功。

1910年,DG推出最早的管弦樂唱片,巴克豪斯演奏的「葛利格鋼琴協奏曲」開頭片段,直到1929年艾彌爾過世時,DG的唱片年產量便已達到近千萬張。
