Instead of the big ugly boxes that Color Distortion sound with resonance-induced, Essence ™ Electrostatic Speakers reproduce sound in a revolutionary new Way Speaker cabinets without expensive, woofers, tweeters, or crossovers.
Essence ™ speakers use a single ultra thin (4 microns) low-mass film diaphragm suspended in an electrostatic field where a simple law of nature makes sound. Like forces repel and opposite forces attract to move the air faster than any conventional speakers can, with just one moving part.
The diaphragm is lighter than the air its moving, 50 to 100 times lower in weight than big woofer cones that have to overcome their own inertia. A speakers ability to stop and start as fast as the actual music is what determines how clean the sound will be. Electrostats outperform dynamic speakers by their ability to accurately track your high res music sources.
Featuring the first transparent acrylic stator assembly in audio history and using the latest 3D printed electronics Essence ™ Electrostats cleverly increase the excursion of the diaphragm in the low frequencies to move twice as much air as any previous electrostat in the same price range.
